About PWConsultants

The proprietor, Philip Williams graduated from Essex university in the early 70's with an honours degree (BA (Hons)). He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS) a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).

He spent most of his working life in a large corporate starting off in research on artificial intelligence IBM processor when computers filled large rooms and had all of 2 Kilo bytes of core memory. He moved on to do all sorts of software development through to managing a small support team and eventually being a general manager responsible for a very large team of engineers and over 120,000 desktop and laptop computers. Throughout that time Philip has kept up to date with his technical skills as well as developing managerial and leadership skills.
